William Munns

William Munns, is a veteran filmmaker and special makeup effects expert who has created ape costumes and Bigfoot creature effects, thus he brings a wealth of knowledge to the question of whether this film was faked. William has also created hominid exhibit models for museums and thus is familiar with human origin studies, and can appreciate the ramifications if the film is finally determined to be something authentic. He co-developed an exhibit called “Faces on Fossils", in partnership with the San Diego Museum of Man, and the exhibit presented the techniques and underlying concepts for taking hominid fossils and reconstructing facial features and living appearances of the species. William has researched the Patterson-Gimlin Film for 9 years, assembled the largest research database of film image evidence ever held by any research endeavor, and has authored a book on the research effort, “When Roger Met Patty”.
